Dear Jack & Cudmore & Forsyth Families, We send our deepest sympathies at this very sad time. My father, John Milton O'Connor, was your first cousin Jack & often spoke of you & your brothers Jim & Ed with such fond memories & high regard & of course thought the world of Aunt Mary O'Connor Cudmore & Uncle Russell Cudmore, Dean's great-grandparents. We are so very sorry to learn of this recent tragedy in your lives & will be praying for you all throughout such a time of deep sorrow, loss & healing. From the tributes I've read in this Guest Book of Remembrance/Condolence, Dean was indeed a very special young man, loved by many, as are his Mom & Dad & siblings....a wonderful family. We do wish to let you know we hold you all close in our everyday thoughts & prayers during this very painful, difficult time. Lots of love & may God bless. Ellen O'Connor Gravelle & Pierre Gravelle, Teresa, Tom, Paula & families – Gatineau (Aylmer) Que.

To the Cudmore Family, I fondly remember Dean in school and even in school choir for a while. A bright light has gone out of the world. I am sorry for your loss. A bedkit (Sleeping Children Around the World) will be donated in Dean's memory at St. Joseph's. Catherine Ross

Amanda, Mike, Alice, Jay and Evan

Words cannot express the shock, disbelief and anguish when Byron and I heard the news. I met Dean in December 2012 at Alice’s new place and I was extremely impressed by him. Alice was showing him around and he was taking pictures. He was so enthusiastic and so expressive with his thoughts and feelings. I was smiling as I heard his expressions of delight as Alice showed him around. I am crying as I write this. He is a beautiful brother and I am sure an amazing son, grandson and friend. This not the natural order, parents do not outlive their children, and it shocks our belief system. Dean will always be with you, in your hearts, safe and loved.

Mike and Amanda, if you need anything, anything at all, or just a shoulder to cry on, day or night, we are here for you. Losing a child is the absolute worst for a parent. You are a beautiful close family and your love for each other will help you through the days to come. You don’t know what you can do, until you have to do it.

Dean’s beautiful memory will live on forever in everyone that he touched. Ann, Byron Grant and family
